On Wednesday, the day of the “Ring of Fire” Solar Eclipse - Micro New Moon, the Sun sent us a blast of “fire”…The 2nd largest earth directed solar flare of this Solar Cycle - an X7.1! Then just 24 hours later, it sent us another blast of energy…The largest solar flare in over 20 years - an X9.1! Both flares produced strong CME’s that are headed for earth. They are arriving any moment and will produce very strong geomagnetic storms this weekend.

Around Equinox (now), the earth’s magnetosphere is weaker than usual, allowing for more solar energy to enter, therefore storms can be stronger and last longer than expected. Currently, the sun is peppered with sunspots that harbor energy for more strong flares (M & X class). This could be a super wild energy weekend that flows into next week.
